Not sure what to say?

I am an admissions counselor at University of Alaska Fairbanks. Earlier today, a student at Messiah contacted me about the possibility of continuing his education at UAF and Paul came to mind. On a whim, I googled his name and only now am learning of his passing. I am so sorry to hear this news and so sorry I didn't know of his struggles.

I had the privilege of knowing Paul, particularly from the early 1990s. We sometimes would travel the same roads in going to college fairs and...

Cathy & Family,
We just found out about Paul's passing. We were saddened are so sorry to hear this news but are sure he is rejoicing with our Lord. It has been a long time since we have seen you. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers now and always. Paul was a very special man.
All our love in Christ.

Paul was a fellow classmate of mine at The King's College. After I relocated to central Pa. I was thrilled to see him at Messiah doing his Admissions thing. :) A lovely person in every way and a fine Christian gentleman.

I am late in sending a message. I just found out about Paul. He was so kind, warm and helpful to me when I first came to Messiah. I was to take over from him in managing the traveling Music Ministry Teams which no longer exist. He was very generous in his sharing of the work, inviting us into his home and I also got to work with Tim, his son. My prayers of peace to the whole family.

Paul was one of the gentlest men we've known with a welcoming smile and powerful tenor not easily forgotten. As a couple, Paul and Cathy touched the hearts of thousands of people with their considerable musical talents through their outreach at West Shore Free Church and beyond. May God's comfort and strength be with his dear family members as they wait for the day that they will be reunited with him in Heaven.

Paul was a integral part of our 1969-1970 M-E soccer team family. He loved the sport and the complication as well!!! He was one of our leaders on and off the field. I am very sad to hear this news and It is very sad to see him leave us this early in his life.. Allan Mihelc

I am grateful to have known Paul and to have had the opportunity to make beautiful music with him at Messiah College and Susquehanna Chorale. He was caring and genuine, and always had an encouraging word and smile. He is missed.

It was a privilege to know and love Paul, to hear him share his gifts of humor and music. We were blessed to be able to share in this service online. Our love, sympathies and prayers to each of you as you mourn. We rejoice that he is again laughing, singing praises to our God and leaping with joy in His presence. God bless you.

Many memories of Paul – from when I was a student at Messiah and his mail and mine would (understandably) get mixed up in the mail room – to a shared, significant trip to Costa Rica in 1990 shortly before we came to stay here for the next 30 or so years – to singing with him in the W S E Free Church choir . . . who has heard Paul sing that will not still remember that amazing tenor voice, whether carrying along the choir or standing out in an amazing solo? My last memory of Paul was during a...
