Read MoreYou have my sincere sympathy. He made a difference in a lot of lives and will be greatly missed. I met Dr. Munger when he was the faculty advisor for the student chapter of ASCE and I was a member and officer. He was always there to encourage us and promote our professional growth.

I met Dr. Munger as a UMR undergraduate in 1975 or so. He was briefly my advisor as a freshman, but that turned into a professional friend and peer that would always say 'hi' whenever I ran into at 'engineering meetings' or at the soccer fields in Rolla when I was watching my daughter play his granddaughter. He always had time for people. Great engineer! Great guy! Great role model! We will carry on, Dr. Munger!

Dr. Munger was my fluid mechanics professor at Rolla. He made engineering interesting to his students. His passing is a great loss to the engineering profession. He will be greatly missed.

So sorry for the family's loss, the engineering family & mo s&t's loss. I worked for Dr. Munger for 3 or 4 years and still saw him on occasion over the years. He was a great and very kind man. He will be very sadly missed.
