Not sure what to say?

Paul was an inspiration and will be missed by so many. Always quick with a smile and a great story he remained young at heart to his last day. His love of history, music books.art, travel and skiing made him a mountain of knowledge and experience that he gladly shared. We will always miss you.

A great man. I did not get a chance to say thank you.
A late thank you Paul. Condolences for the family.

Dad, I Love you and miss you so much!!

...thinking of you everyday!!

Dear Jean and Children...Although I was not able to attend the service for Paul, he and all of you have been much on my mind of late, including our many tennis adventures together and also Elvin's stint with all his Hispanic companions at Paul's office. Please share this with your mother, kids, because she and I were friends as well as tennis partners in the olden days...seems like very long ago. Both your parents were among the most gracious folks I have known in my 87-year-old life! Please...

I knew Paul through the Good Samaritan Hospital cardiac rehab program. We exercised together for the past several years. We would sometimes talk about music, we were both fans of the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas. He told me that the Portland Opera was going to do a Gilbert & Sullivan production this season. We were both looking forward to seeing it. I'm saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He was a very nice person, and I'll miss running into him at the cardiac rehab gym.

Dear family of Paul Nagel. What a blessing it was to meet Paul and his lovely wife Jean on our first cruise. What a gentleman....his family and our family became fast friends and I treasure our times together. What a fabulous man...he will be sorely missed.

Paul led our Rotary Group Study Exchange to Argentina in 1982. He was a wonderful person and a great team leader - sincere, caring, a friend, a gentleman. Photos of him taken during the exchange still pop up on my screen saver. So, we will continue the good memories for years to come.

Paul Nagel was one of the nicest, kindest men I have ever known. I met Paul nearly forty years ago at the Circulo Espanol. While working downtown in the 70s and early 80s I saw him at least monthly leading our discussions in Spanish. Then, after a nearly thirty-year break, I once again found the Circulo, and there was Paul still carrying on with his love for all things Spanish. What a great individual! I will miss him.

It was such a pleasure to have known Paul these past 30 years. Our paths crossed in the janitorial world. He was one of the BEST competitors I knew. Always had a kind word, a smile and oh so professional. He was a dear and loyal Rotarian with my uncle Don Peake for many yeas. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. Ronda Butler
