Not sure what to say?

My freshest memories of Uncle Paul are when he came out for Mom's funeral. We spent lots of time chatting together in the car and doing all kinds of fun things like the antique tractor fair in Hanley Falls. He was great company - interesting and interested. He was keenly sharp, astute and witty offering his point of view on the widest possible range of topics from his vast experience. We made a profound connection in those few days which I'm very thankful for.

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Paul and his family for his service to our country. You don't know me and I don't know you. But having retired from the Army myself I know that Paul's efforts while in the Army Air Corps and the Air Force Reserves were probably under-appreciated with the exception of his family and close friends. Please know that his contributions to help keep this great nation free and secure, and to develop and train young airmen and woman, have been noted...

To The Ness Family: God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Paul, rest in peace my favorite "Messy Nessy"

Anton, Carol and Marda, I wanted to offer my sympathy to you for the loss of your father. My family lived next door to you in Steelton and I have wonderful memories of your mother and father and of us kids playing together for so many years. I remember when Marda first started to walk as the baby in our little group and Anton always finding the most eggs in the Easter Egg Hunt! And even though I was young, I still remember your dad's smile and easy going nature. I'm sorry I can't be there...

Uncle Paul was the most influential man in my life, along with my father! He will be in my heart forever!

To the Ness Family,

I did not know Mr. Ness, but I do know his granddaughter Nikki. She spoke to me often about him, so I felt as if I had. My prayers go out to the whole family.

To the Ness family,
Though we did not have the luxury to know "Pap" very long, the many days we spent working at his home, with him there to keep watch will not be soon forgotten. He had some great stories to tell and a wit about him that could not be taken for granted. He was a joy to talk with and was always up for a good laugh. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

To the Ness Family:

I have worked with Paul for many years at Allstate....he always had a joke or story to tell, to help brighten our day. He will certainly be missed.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I worked with Paul at Allstate Insurance for many years. His laughter and jokes will be missed by all who knew him.
