Dear O'Boyles,

Our deepest sympathies in your time of loss. Ted was a great influence in my life. Through the explorers and our Wolf River canoe trips he was a mentor to me in my formative teen years. Even my own children have heard of Ted as I quote one of Ted's life's lessons or tell a story of one of our adventures. He will live on in our hearts and our thoughts. He was a great man and a great influence.

Mr. Ted will live on forever in my heart and in my stories about the little house. When I first started going to shows, I was too shy to talk to anyone. He brought me over and introduced me to everyone and made me feel at home. He was an amazing man and is one of the few people that has had a direct effect on who I have become today.

Mr. Ted, your open-mindedness, easy going attitude and intellect will stay with me forever. To the O'Boyle family, hang in there.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Mr. Ted's immediate and extended family.

I've never met quite a gentlemen such as Mr. Ted. A very generous, considerate, and honest man, all would say...but I'm sure he got that alot! He, along with Mrs. Gretchen, supported all of Lynn's shows at the beloved 'little house' venue where I truly attended my first taste in music and it's lifestyle. If it weren't for that, I would have never met the people I know today. And for that, I owe him in infinate ways. Let it be known, as I may sound like a broken record for those who know, he...

My thoughts and sympathy go out to you Lee & Lynn, and your family. Your dad did more for the kids that came to shows at the Little House than he will probably ever know.

This man had the greatest effect on my generation. He will be missed.
