Paul "Buddy" O'Malia

He ran a great program called JPG for the wb area highschool students. We went to new York and saw Big live and shopped at the glass mall. He used to bring us McDonald's and let us move his car lol. He followed me from highschool on up till months before he passed away. He was a great mentor and teacher and at times like a father to me. His whole family cared for my children bought them things and he loved my boys greatly. The best lunches of Abes hotdogs for me and my boys with chocolate...

Decades later you still have a huge impact on my life. You were a great mentor for many and your inspiration has changed lives. You will forever be missed and forever live in our hearts.

Mr. O was the best bowling coach, but even more importantly, he was a great person. I am truly shocked to learn of his passing. Now he is in heaven with Mr. Cardoni. Rest in peace. Jim Maranki

I just found out you passed away. As soon as I heard those words, the world went silent. You were there for so many major life events. You helped me write my first resume, you were there when I got my driver's license, there when I graduated, there to dance at my wedding and ever special moment in between. Mr O was definitely one of a kind. I was in his French class at Freeland. His sense of humor was impeccable. I never realized how many lives he touched. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace Mr O. My sincere condolences to your family,

Carol - I sent you a card but it was returned today. Apparently, I had the wrong address. I was so sorry to learn of Buddy's passing. He was one of my all-time favorite people. I was so sorry to hear about Buddy passing away. He was one of the kindest men I knew. He had a great compassion for others and went above and beyond to help someone in need. God bless his family during this time and please know that Buddy left behind a wonderful legacy and in my heart will never be forgotten.
