Paul "Bugman" Ozack, 52, of Scranton, died Sunday evening at Mercy Hospital of an apparent heart attack. His first wife the former Mary Grace Pienkowski, died July 13, 1997 and his second wife the former Cindy Lou Lasky, died August 14, 2005. Born in Moosic, he was the son of the late Michael S. and Mary J. Manoski Ozack and was a 1979 graduate of Riverside High School. In 1994, he established Paul's Pest control. He was a parishioner of St. Ann's basilica and looked forward to lending a helping hand at the annual novena. He was a Son of the American Legion, Taylor, Post #306. Paul loved to watch football and NASCAR, but his family was the center of his life. Paul enjoyed people and he gave the ultimate gift of life so others could have a better quality of life. Also surviving is a daughter Lisa M. Scranton; a son, Paul J. Scranton; a granddaughter, Monaya Bradley; two step sons; John S. Wheeler, Jacksonville, FL and Mark C. Scalamonti, Scranton; six step daughters, Stephanie Coolbaugh, Jessica Falvo, Angelina and Rosemary Padden, Gina and Michelle Bamdas all of Scranton; 10 step grandchildren; nine sisters, Michaeline Snopek, Hopatcong, NJ; Stella Lebowitz, Dover, Del; Joanne Mason, Perth Amboy, NJ; Roberta Bloomer, Easton; Evelyn Ozack, Avoca; Elaine Strunk, and Lorraine Ozack both of Duryea; Rosie Pahres, Shickshinny and Mary Ann Wiscosky, Scranton; three brothers, Martin, Moosic, Robert, Duryea and David Pittston; Aunts, Uncles and cousins. A brother John preceded him in death. The funeral will be Monday at 11:30 a.m.in St. Ann's Basilica, by the Reverend Michael Salvagna, C.P. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Tuesday morning. Interment Cathedral Cemetery. Family and Friends may call Monday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor. The American Legion Post 306 will conduct services at 7:30 pm.
