Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Aunt Rae and cousins,
I was very saddened to learn of Uncle Paul's death when I just happened to call Aunt Mae yesterday. He truly was an incredible man: the best husband and father imaginible. He always lived his life with a quiet, gentle dignity and was the patriarch of a beautiful family. I read in the Daily News that he was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Though he wasn't able to watch the broadcast of the Sox winning the League series Sunday night or see the Pats dominate...
