Paul was my cousin and I have wonderful memories of him . Our mothers,Anne and Ellen always made sure we knew of Sonny's accomplishments and where he was in the world. But no matter where he was or how busy, he would take time to send a postcard to my mom, ellen. She so loved hearing from him and he made her feel so special. Phyllis, thanks for taking such good care of him! Cousin Jane

Uncle Paul was somebody special. I admire his love for his family (I remember he once got teary eyed when talking about that car he gave A. Phyllis for Christmas one year), dedication to science and enjoyment from the outdoors--I loved the stories from his travels. He also first introduced GPS technology to me as we mapped the coordinates of my home. He is sorely missed by us in NC. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
