Paul V. Peters, of Sellersville, PA, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, at St. Luke’s Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.  He was 84.

He was the loving husband of 54 years of the late Cheryl H. (Borell) Peters until her passing on May 11, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late George Raymond and Mary Elizabeth (Freeman) Peters.

Mr. Peters was a proud U. S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving stateside as an aircraft mechanic from 1964 to 1967 and continuing to serve with the U. S. Navy Reserves until his honorable discharge in 1969.

A builder, he owned and operated Natural Energy Homes, Sellersville, PA, for many years before serving as a foreman for a construction company until his retirement.

Mr. Peters was a member of the Sellersville Lions Club.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he especially enjoyed tending to his houseplants, particularly orchids, and feeding the birds.  In his earlier years, he loved to travel and, later, frequented Longwood Gardens and the Philadelphia Flower Show.  Known as a “foodie”, he loved animals, trivia and trips to the beach.

He is survived by three children, Holly Miller and her husband Kevin, of Schnecksville, PA, and Heather Peters and Jason Peters, both of Sellersville; seven grandchildren, Gretel Swartz, Bauer Swartz, Rosemarie Breish, Alexander Breish, Elias Miller, Rylan Miller and Adelaide Miller; his dogs, Petey and June; and his cats, Tigger and Tinker Bell. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Nicklous and Nancy Prokopyschyn.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucks County SPCA, P. O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA  18931 or www.buckscountyspca.org

Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.

Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Holly, Heather and Jason. Your father was a very good man, a good family provider, and loved you all very much. I loved babysitting you all, especially making memories many summers ago! You all had the biggest play room ever. Your dad was a talented builder designer.

I have many fond memories of weekends with both your m9m abd dad as you all were little. Baking with mom was a favorite and tending to the garden with dad was special.

Paul, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy Vietnam Veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation’s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
