Not sure what to say?

Coach Petty took me for my drivers training test on Jan 30 1976. He was a great individual, he was also my P.E Teacher. Rest In Peace Coach Petty. Richard M. Murrieta and Family.

Coach Petty was my brother Bobby's coach at Miami High School. We all were members of First Baptist Church in Miami. He was a great postitive influence on the many lives he touched. We all loved "Coach" and extend our deepest sympathies to his family.

Coach Petty planted seeds of character. These seeds grew into trees. These trees
seeded a forest bearing character as it's
fruit. Coach your influence will go on
forever.

Rest in peace Coach and may all your players meet you at the gates when it's their time and get the touchdown play for the win.

Grosso (Miami High School)

I remember Coach Petty from my High School years in Miami High, we had a really good team for years with him as coach. He was a man for the children and for the people and will be greatly missed. Our sympathy and prayers are with you. Kathy Johnson

Paul Petty was a deacon in the church where I grew up in Miami, AZ. He was the humblest of people. It really embarrassed him to be the center of attention. A quiet, generous man, it wasn't until just recently we learned that he was the "anonymous donor" who helped my brother, Bill, pay tuition for his last year in college when Bill's financial position was desperate. That was about 40 years ago. You will always be remembered and appreciated, Paul. To his family: Please accept my sincerest...

I also have fond memories of Coach Petty, especially during many summers at Camp Jourdin and then when his family returned to the Cobre Valley to coach at Globe High School. My condolences and prayers are with the entire family.

I remember Coach Petty from my HS years at Miami. I attend First Baptist Church with him. May he rest in peace. God bless his family.

So many memories of Coach Petty from my early childhood, from his deep voice singing in church, to his telling stories around the campfire at YMCA Camp Jourdin, as well as watching him coach. I will always have wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
