In his many years of teaching he helped shape the character of hundreds if not thousands of young men and women - what a legacy. Having Mr. Pfahler as my teacher was a tremendous blessing and privilege. He inspired respect as a teacher and a coach, but at the same time was one of the kindest most caring men I have ever known. My deepest condolences for your loss Mrs. Pfahler.

Paul was a friend in Mans. At West Fifth grade school. He told me to join the Episcopal Church choir because they paid 6.00 dollars a year & I did. I liked him a lot. He was no sour apple.

Our prayers are with you Dorthy and your family. We will miss Pauls great smile, his sense of humor and the joy he brought to us. When we cruised together, it didnt take long and the waiters, and waitresses were saying Hello Mr. Paul. He made friends of them and took interest in there lives. He will be missed, but not forgotten. May he rest in peace.
