Paul L. Piotrowicz, 53, of Morton Grove, suddenly April 24 , 2014. Beloved Father of Miranda and Lindsey, loving son of Stanley and Mary Lou Piotrowicz; devoted companion of Diane Barr. Dear brother of Jack (Kathy) Piotrowicz, Mary Jo (Rick) Barbosa and Carol Jean (John) Munson. Uncle of Cammie and Mark. A 1978 grad of Evanston High School Where he lettered in baseball and soccer. He was voted most valuable player on his soccer team that traveled to compete in a tournament in Europe. He earned a degree in business in 1983 at Western Michigan University where he starred at soccer, again MVP, and baseball. A passionate sportsman, he was an avid fisherman, hunter and hockey player, as well as an accomplished artist. He was an active member of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce and Wilmette Harbor Power Fleet. Services and visitation will be held Friday May 9th at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church, 524 Ninth St., Wilmette, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his children's 529 Education Fund to: Morgan Stanley 529 College Acct. c/o Jack Piotrowicz, 9543 Avers Ave., Evanston, IL 60203.
