Paul and I were saddened and suprised when we became aware of
Paul's passing. The few times we had lunch together were much fun
and provided us some delightful
memories.

Dear Alice,
Your loss of Paul is shared by many of us who have known him for over 50 years.
The Class of 54 enjoyed his presence at our homecoming. How fortunate we were that he was well enough to attend this event.
May God bless you and your family.

Alice,
It was truly a shock to hear about Paul last Thursday. I spent most of the morning on the phone and emailing people in the lab system and retirees who I could reach. I tell you there were nothing but glowing rememberances. Later that evening I spoke to Don Soignet. He told me the details of the services but being so far away now (we transferred back to DC to be near our kids and grandkids) I won't be there in person. But be assured Paul, you, the boys and their families...

Dear Alice,
My deepest sympathy for your lost of Paul. I'm sorry I was not able to attend but my Uncle (my Dad's brother) was buried at the same time on Saturday in Vacherie, La. I enjoyed working with Paul as a chemist and as my Boss. He was so even keeled all the time. Never raised his voice at us and such a wonderful man to work for. I'll never forget Paul. He was always ready to help anyone.
