Paul Edward Purcell

He was a class act. Told clients and prospects the truth, regardless of what they wanted to hear. As a young person in finance, I admired watching how he conducted himself.

Paul was the finest, most caring manager and friend I have ever met. He steered me through the beginning of my career and I will never forget his intelligence, wisdom, kindness and integrity. He was also a lot of fun. We will always miss you, Paul. I'm thinking of you, Patti. I know how much it hurts. All the best, Gaile

It was a sorrowful morning today when I learned of Paul's passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. So amazing how fast time flies. It still seems like yesterday when I last saw Paul. It was on the occasion of a memorial service in New York for Al Gordon long time chairman of Kidder, Peabody. I was sitting in a pew when all of a sudden Paul sat down next to me. We did not have long to chat. But I was telling him about how I became an active runner...

I just found out today about Paul's passing. Patti and Family, I am so sorry I did not learn of this sooner. I wish I could have been there for you all. Paul was one of the finest people I have ever met. I will always be grateful to to have known him as a colleague, mentor and friend. The world has lost one of his brightest lights.
