Not sure what to say?

To the Purdom Family,

My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. I worked for Paul for 5 years and in that time grew to know an extremely intelligent, generous, and funny man. He kept me on my toes for sure. He did not hold back whether it was his opinion or his sage advice; and both were always welcome. What he lacked in enthusiasm for new technology (his views on the subject always good for a giggle), he more than made up for in his endless wealth of knowledge of history, nature, art...

My dad and I miss your father very much. He was a constant and supportive friend not only to my dad, but to me as well.
Paul was such a good confidante and always had intelligent and thoughtful responses to any thought or question I had, most of the time humorous as well. Life is so much more dull and lonely without him. He will always be in our hearts and memories. To 'Wakefield', here here!

my father and paul's father were very good friends. My father was ken beal--mary and walt and wendy were at our house in Burlingame many times. I would like to pay my respects to Paul at swiss hotel--my husband and I have a house in Sonoma--can you let me know the date? email [email protected] Thanks and my sincerest condolences.

Dear Ned and Charlie,

I am sorry for your loss.

I appreciated the opportunity to work with Paul and both of you at Purdom PR - I learned a lot while working there.

A nicely written obituary...I'm sure Paul would have liked that.

I will remember you

Dear Paul,
We shared so mnay good times together! You were always a special friend. Rest in peace my friend, I will always remember you and will see you in the hereafter. Love Yolanda

Dear Ned, Ellin, Ted and Charlie - We are sorry to learn of your loss. Paul sounds like a colorful, interesting man - one whose passing will leave a void in the lives of those who loved him. Best to all of you.

Dear Ned and Ellin,
My father and your father spent a couple of years having drinks together in Sonoma. From what I understand they had a lot in common and became friends very quickly. My sense is these were very proud, successful and kind men. I know you are missing your father as I am missing mine, but I know they are together having a drink and solving all the heavenly issues around them.
Love, Jackie Davis Gray

Ned, so sorry for your loss. Our family sends their best wishes. Tim Cannon, (Joan and Laura's dad)
