Not sure what to say?

It has been almost one month since Paul passed away (Aug. 1). I miss him so much. I keep expecting him to come back from vacation.

Many thanks to all of you who shared your condolences and memories with us on this web site and to all of you who sent cards and flowers.

Paul was blessed to have so many friends. He was a special person whose kindness, gentleness and fairness went a long way in bringing out the best in people. We are all better for having known him....

One more thing:
DRIVE FAST, TAKE CHANCES!

Paul has been in my life for over 10 years and saw me through college, having my child, and finally moving out on my own . I used to email him from college and he’d always comment on my grammar and punctuation. He couldn’t believe that I didn’t capitalize at times. I saw no need for it in an informal email, but he was always someone to make little remarks. At first, I called him a know-it-all, and he was, but then it became a joke between us. I’d give him flak and he’d give it right back. It...

Paul will be missed. From discussions of politics, current affairs, the future of the title industry, to the finer points of shooting rubber bands or editing news photographs, Paul displayed a grace and humor that endeared him to all.
Sadly, I was out of town and unable to attend the service, but offer my condolences to Paul's family and to Monica.

Paul - you will be missed by many. Erickson and I will play a game of hearts in your honor.

Paul's family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

The Wolfe Family

First of all, I want to thank you Monica, my dear friend and neighbor, for giving Paul so much adventure when he needed to live, and so much comfort when he need to rest.
Paul, I'll never be able to watch "Fargo" without thinking of the man who could recite every line from the movie, and I'm still awe struck every time I think of the palace of an outhouse you built. Most of all I'll miss you the most when the Evening primrose blooms and you're not here to watch them with me. For the...

Paul was a great friend. I will never forget the office hijinks (where Paul was usually the target), our political debates, listening to Paul talk about soaring or whatever else was on his mind, or the many other great times that we shared.

Paul was a great mentor, teacher and caring friend. He taught me the skills I needed to be a good title examiner. He was a great manager because he took the time to really know and talk with his employees. I remember some really great conversations, some deeply serious and some so silly that they bordered on ridiculous! Paul set the standard by which I measure all other managers and no one else has ever measured up. I am grateful for his contribution to my life.
