Remembering dear Cousin Paul, a loving cousin, who departed this life too soon.

Meredith, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Paul's passing, especially since we'd just spoken at Rosh Hashanah. I will cherish the memory of that conversation and the many others that we had over the years. I will truly miss him, but my heart breaks for you and your loss. May Paul's memory be for a blessing. Meredith--So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was the only first cousin on the Recht side of the family who was of my generation and, while we saw and spoke to each other only occasionally in recent years, we always had a close and special bond. Paul was a smart and honorable man who I know was deeply devoted to you, and I'm sure you will miss him greatly. My thoughts are with you. Phil.

My dear cousin Paul always called me on my birthday and we would reminisce about Clairton and our Recht family history. He will be sorely missed. God bless you Meredith. Stanford and I wish you the strength to go on and many sweet memories to sustain you.

Paul was a dear and true friend for more than 50 years. His love of film, literature, and music led me on new paths of discovery and appreciation. His unwavering care and commitment to our friendship -- over many years and many miles -- has always been a treasured gift. My heartfelt condolences to Meredith and to Paul's family.
