Uncle Paul's and Mom's birthday

I have many fond memories going back to my childhood of Uncle Paul. These memories go back to when he came out to help Mom when Dad had his first operation. Uncle Paul was always so nice to us. He never got mad or frustrated with me, (and I'm sure he had more then one good reason too!) The memories of visiting the Reising family in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, where everybody welcomed us with open arms. That was when I knew I would have a bird dog someday, just like Uncle Paul's. Uncle Paul will live on in my memory. His love of my family, of my mom, his hospitality, all these things remain special to me. One of my greatest feats in life was making Uncle Paul’s Christmas wine gift list. Receiving those bottles of “vinegar” was always a special treat! My family and I are truly blessed for knowing him. Mom misses him dearly (as I’m sure all of his family does). Her being able to visit with him that last week was very special to her.
