Not sure what to say?

Dear Milly and rest of Family,
Paul was such a wonderful role model for Radiologist. I learned so much from him during the summers when he joined us in Syracuse. The residents benefited from his sage advice and helpful tips. We will miss him!

To the Riemenschneider clan:

Widewater summers are always memorable events where I am comforted by warm, familiar and loving forces. Uncle Paul has been a large part of those forces as far back as I can remember - I will miss him greatly and offer my condolences to your great loss.

Dearest Aunt Mil, Bobbi,David,Nan,Betsy,Al and Sarah My deepest sympathies go out to all of you and your families. Uncle Paul's smile and kindness will forever be remembered despite losing out on years of contact with all of you. His kindness and gentleness during our visits from abroad to the lake will always be lovingly remembered. Not until reading the beautiful obituary Betsy wrote did I know everything he had done in his life - but his love for family was very much appreciated when he...

DearAunt Mil,Bobbi,Nan,Dave,Al,
Betsy and Sarah, I am saddened to hear of Uncle Paul's passing. My memories of time with your family when I was young are wonderful- I remember a fun and loving family! I also remember Uncle Paul as being a very gentle and kind man. I often heard my father say what a wonderful friend he and Aunt Mil were to him when he lived with them many years ago, and for that I am grateful and know that if Uncle Paul was special to my father, he is special to me. I...

Betsy:
There are no words that can truly speak your sorrow. May your memories light the way through this sad time. With Sincere Sympathy.

I can remember when David and I were in the same kingergarten class and we were so impressed he could spell his entire name on paper! What wonderful, innocent days at Salem Hyde. I hope your memories will serve you comfort.

Aunt Mil, Bobbi, Nan, Dave, Al, Betsy, and Sarah--

Widewater will not be the same without Uncle Paul—such a gentle, loving, kind man! We all will miss him very much.

I remember when Uncle Paul secured enough of the then-new Salk vaccine to immunize all the Widewater kids; I was convinced that he alone of all doctors in the world gave us the vaccine via sugar cubes because he didn’t want to cause us pain by giving us shots!

Much love to you all,
Libs

Please accept the condolences of the Upstate Medical Center community. Dr.Riemenschneider created a radiology department of substantial quality in a short time, and his legacy endures. More than two generations of students and residents have benefited from his efforts, and he will be missed.
