I only met Mr. Rivas a couple of times, but each time he was so extremely kind, sweet and friendly. I do, however, know his son Bryan and instantly saw where Bryan got his sweet, kind and friendly nature. PAUL , WAS SINGLE AND WORKING AT MERCED THEATER. HE WORKED PUTING UPCOMING MOVIES ON BILLBOARDS AND USERED PEOPLE IN AND OUT WHEN NEEDED. WE WERE BOYS SELLING NEWS PAPERS FOR THE SUN-STAR MERCED PAPER. TOWARD CLOSING TIME WE HAD TIME TO KILL. WE WOULD GATHER AT BACK DOOR OF THE THEATER. PAUL WOULD LET US IN FOR FREE TO SEE A MOVIE. WE STAYED ABOUT HOUR AND HAD TO RUSH BACK TO NEWS PAPER OFFICE AND SETTLE UP WITH OUR BOSS. WE GOT PAID DAILY. THE PAPER SOLD FOR 10 CENT BACK THEN...HIS...
