PALMER – Paul E. Robinson, 63, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on Friday as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Claremont, NH on August 18, 1954, he was the son of the late Richard E. and Eleanor (White) Robinson. Paul was raised and educated in Springfield and has lived in Palmer for the past 24 years. He was a naturally gifted musician, avid reader and animal lover. He was pre-deceased by his wife, April (Gulbrandsen) Robinson.
Paul is survived by two daughters, Catherine Richard and her husband Matt of Littleton, MA and Amy Robinson of Chicopee, five grandchildren, Faith Robinson, Mackenzie Robinson Chelte and Nathan, Hannah and Zoe Richard. He also leaves three brothers, Charles Robinson (Susie), Mark Robinson and David Robinson (Cheryl O'Brien), a sister, Joyce Trench and several nieces and nephews very near and dear to his heart. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee with a Farewell Service at 5:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to Dakin Human Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA, 01101. Paul was my brother in law and it seems I've known him forever. I have very fond memories of some wonderful times with April and him. He had a great smile and contagious laugh. I know he is now with the love of his life. God bless all who are left behind - you will be missed Paul.❤
