Cherie and Joel, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I will always remember his smile, stopping at 7 Eleven for a Slurpee on his way home from work at Kodak, and the sparkle in his eye when he talked about his passions. Out of all the fathers I knew growing up, he was the only one that truly understood what was important to a kid, and that was to have fun. Paul was was the first media I hosted when I started my new job at Six Flags Over Georgia about 20 years ago. He went real easy on me as I recall. We finished the day taking an aerial tour of the park in our GM's private plane and Paul rattled off the history of the ride landscape while I eagerly absorbed. It was great fun and I learned a lot from him about my new industry that day. He was an invaluable resource for many years to come.

Paul was a a lover of amusement parks and roller coasters. Paul interviewed me a couple time for magazines and I found him to always ask the questions no one else would. Very nice and a very gentle man, he will be missed. RIP

He has been a strong presence in the amusement industry, and as a park and coaster enthusiast, for decades, with his reporting, writing, and publications skills, as well as his passion for having fun and his talent for sharing it.
