Not sure what to say?

I´m so sorry for your loss, prayers for you and your family

I (Gene) first met Paul while standing in line to sign in to our first army assignment at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in September, 1968. Paul Sauer was a wonderful person. He was warm, caring, fun-loving and very kind. Paul embodied all of the characteristics one would like in a college professor. He was smart, helpful and could see problems from multiple perspectives. He was a great colleague, and he was an even better friend. I feel very blessed for our friendship. I worked with Paul at Canisius and have many fond memories of him. He was quick with a joke and a smile. He was one of the smartest people I have ever met, and was not just a colleague, but a friend and a mentor. No one ever had anything negative to say about him. I will miss him.

Thank you for your service.
