Not sure what to say?

Death ends a physical relationship but not the love and cherished memories. Paul, you are loved more each day and dearly missed. We are doing great things in your memory, giving scholarships and helping our veterans. I think you would be proud of us, especially your mom, dad and brother. Many of your friends visit your grave. Sgt. Ballengar still holds you close in his heart. Watch over us Paul. Because of our Savior Jesus Christ, I will see you again. Loving you forever Paul, forever in our...

14 years but the love remains the same. Paul, you will forever be a part of our family and hearts. So many things have changed but one thing doesn't - the cherished memories and love that we have for you. I know you are with Jesus and happy beyond our comprehension. Our great hope is that we will see you again. Until that time, loving you forever Paul, forever in our hearts.

Not a day goes by that your not thought of. You will always, always be a part of this family. We are so proud of your service and sacrifice. We will see you again because of God's great mercy and grace. Until that time, loving you forever Paul, forever in our hearts.

On August 26th, 2016, a new scoreboard will be dedicated at Bremen High School. The name of the scoreboard is the "Paul Saylor Memorial & Veterans" Scoreboard. Bremen is keeping your legacy and sacrifice to our county alive.

So many generous people have donated to make the scoreboard a reality. Your plaque is so incredible, showing your senior photo with your beautiful smile.

I hope you will be with us, smiling down at all your family and friends who have gathered...

Some days it feels like my heart will break completely because you are not here. But I just close my eyes and see you and you are smiling at me, reminding me to be happy, enjoy life and to especially remember that you are where there is no more pain or suffering. One day we will be together again by the grace and glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Until that time, I hold your precious memories close in my heart, where you will always remain. Loving you forever Paul, forever in our...

To the family and friends of Sgt. Paul A. Saylor:
Please accept my remembrance of Paul on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

My Dearest Paul,

Today marks the fifth anniversary of the day our world changed forever, the day that we learned that you had died while serving our country. Your mom sang in church today a beautiful song that best describes how we have survived without you these past five years and how we will continue to go on – “A Broken Hallelujah.” The song speaks of God’s great love, mercy and peace through the most difficult times in people’s lives. And it has only been through God’s...
