For an out-of-town transplant, this was a life-changing event that helped me integrate into the community. I was always made to feel like part of your extended family. For that I am grateful. I will always remember Paul's generosity and friendship.

My deepest sympathy to Nancy and the entire Scanlan family. Paul was one of a kind and was a father figure to many University of Scranton students. I considered him a dear friend and a great chef. His chili recipe is second to none. May Paul's memory be eternal. The class of 76 will never forget you.
