Not sure what to say?

I knew Mr. Schaefer through, Mount de Sales, Cardinal Gibbons and the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.

Just learned of Paul's passing through contacts at the pool - Paul was a wonderful and trusted advisor to us. He will be missed.

Dear Maria and family,
I have always thought very highly of your father ever since our days in grade school. He had a tremendous gift of kindness. May God comfort you at this time.

Dear Maria and Family,

Just learned about your father's passing. He was one of the nicest, most decent human beings I ever met. His love for his family was paramount. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

There was not an opportunity to talk about Paul at his funeral today but if there was this is what I would have liked to say:

I started working with Paul Schaefer in 1980 working in a small room in the basement of his house. Bonnie Ronaghan joined us shortly after that and she remembers us sharing a phone and she would have to pass it back and forth between us. Paul drove me a little crazy for the next 15 years and I know I drove him a lot crazy during those 15 years but he taught me...

Mrs Schaefer and family,
My the lord be with you in this trying time. I only knew Paul for a short time but in that time knew what a fine man he was. I will greatly miss him as I know you will. May the lord continue to give you strength and GOD bless your family.

Florence, Maria, and Patti,
Butch and I are sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Schaefer, Patti and Maria: My heart goes out to you at this time of great loss. Mr. Schaefer my Godfather, my friend and my inspiration will be missed! It was always a joy to be with your family and I will cherish those times. I am so sorry I could not be there to show my support but you know he would understand. I was so glad I had the chance to speak with him and let him know what he meant to me. Tomorrow is never promised! Take care and know our prayers are with you!

To Florence and the girls,my sympathies on the passing of Paul;he was so helpful to so many people-generous,always willing to listen, and able to give discerning advice and counsel.Would there were more people of his goodness. God Bless Paul and all of you. Tim McCusker
