Not sure what to say?

Paul was a wonderful man...He was my mother's, Ruth Anne Schmidt, uncle...Even after my mother's passing, Paul made sure to keep in touch with my family. He was 'one of a kind'. My prayers go out to all of my 'extended' family in Chicago...

Love, Sami Meiers Griffin

To the Family of Dr. Paul Schmidt,
My family knew Dr. Paul when he had his practice on 79th Street in Chicago.
He was always very professional and honest with his patients. My Mother will miss him very much!! God Bless all of you in your time of sadness.

To The Schmidt Family,

Dr Schmidt was my beloved Dr. for 45 years and the family joke was he never seemed to age. I just learned of his passing today and was deeply saddened. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I had recently seen Paul on the golf course but we never got to play together.

My sincere condolences to the whole family. I have always had a special regard for Paul, who helped me establish my practice and let me use his office to see patients. He was always generous and treated me as a friend.
Best wishes to the family.

To Dr. Schmidt's family, I was very sad to hear of your loss. I had worked for Dr. Schmidt when I was in optometry school and he was very generous to me. Audrey and Dr. Schmidt taught me a lot about patient care during the summer that I worked with the practice. I will keep Dr. Schmidt and the family in my prayers.

To the entire family of Dr. Paul, I am very sorry for your great loss. You don't forget someone like him once you meet him. He taught me how to really treat people, whether they were our patients or not, and boy could he joke around in the office to make the patients laugh. I cherish the time I worked in his Ophthalmology practice as a tech and have never forgotten his wonderful family. Know that he is so taken care of in heaven right now. Again, thank you Doctor Schmidt. I hope to meet you...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. I had heard that Dr. Schmidt was ill from Audrey at a recent reunion and have had him in our prayers. May he be at eternal rest. I wish the whole family strength during this difficult time. Cherish the memories.

I'm so sorry to hear about your family's loss. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.

Please accept my sympathy as a patient of both Dr. Schmidts for the loss of good Dr. Paul. The first time at his office I was most impressed with the sign on the wall using the Latin words "Spiritus Dei" for the name of his practice. He was a gifted doctor and a man of faith who was not afraid to openly and publicly declare that the Spirit of God guided him in his work. How wonderful to see that sign and to know him as a caring doctor. God has surely welcomed him home.
