I was looking Dr. Pauls picture to show someone who he was and found this obituary. It saddens me to see this , I had no idea. Thank you Dr. Paul for taking such good care of me... RIP! Condolences to his whole family and all that loved him.

To the family of a wonderful man, I wanted to say hello to my old friend Paul as we would do from time to time and I stumbled on this obituary. I want to say my heart which he diagnosed and fixed many years ago is broken this morning. He was such a wonderful doctor from his early days as a resident where we met and just lovely man, I will miss knowing you are on this earth. My condolences to the family. He was a respected, caring physician who took excellent care of his patients. He will be missed by many.

Worked with Dr Schmidt for many years in CVICU at Methodist, he was wonderful to work with and learn from. He truly had a zest for life and a wonderful compassionate nature. Condolences to his family.
