Not sure what to say?

I know its late but I just had to say that pastor Paul and the word today were the reason I'm saved and following Christ today, thankyou Pastor Paul I will never forget you sir.....See you up the rode......>

I met Pastor Paul in 1993 with my then husband, Bob, and we took his introduction to the parish course. I instantly felt welcomed and at home. I grew up Catholic, so Our Shepherds as my first experience as a member of a Lutheran Congregation. I enjoyed every minute of every service I ever heard from Pastor Paul and was happy I had joined his church. We moved in 2005 and then no longer attended Our Shepherd. I missed both pastor's Paul and Doug as my Spiritual leaders. Pastor Paul...

To Sylvia, Dana, and Doug,
I just found out today that Pastor Paul had recently passed away. I am so sorry for your loss! I was a member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church from 1987-1997. My late father and mother were also members at that time. My 91 year old mother passed away in May of this year. We all learned so much from Pastor Paul! Paul was a wonderful man of God! I have never known a pastor like him since. He taught me so much about how to fully trust God and having a personal...

So sorry to about Pastor Paul's passing. What a blessing to know he is with Jesus! What a beautiful service, message, and tribute to Pastor Paul and his life's mission of spreading the 'Good News'. Even including the doxology and the 'Amen', which I will always remember from Our Shepherd!
I remember my mom(Jane) collecting cans for The Word Today to help with the ministry. ... May God be with you! Kathy F. (Minnesota)

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I am sad to learn that another cousin has left this earth. Though we were kin, we did not really know each other. Paul's dad and my dad (Alfred) were brothers and they were both pastors. Their father (Paul) was also a pastor. Now, with Doug also being a pastor, can you imagine how many people were touched by these Schroeder men as they baptized, confirmed, married and buried members of their churches. My name is Carol (Schroeder...

Condolences to his family on behalf of myself and my family. Pastor Schroeder was my confirmation pastor and always impressed me with his depth of knowledge and understanding. A gifted preacher and teacher. If you paid attention at all in his class, you gained a great facility in use of scripture for daily living.

We were blessed to have been members of Our Shepherd in the 60's and early 70's. Pastor baptized two of our sons. Because of his ministering, we grew tremendously in our faith during those years. It was a wonderful time in our lives. Happy memories also of bowling with Sylvia!!! May God bless your family as you work through your grief.

To Sylvia, Doug, and Dana and rest of family,

I was so sorry to hear of Pastor's passing. I'm so glad he got to spend a few retirement years down in Florida. He was a great man of God and my late husband Vern and myself thought so much of him and the entire family. Well done good and faithful servant! Welcome to your eternal rest!
