Not sure what to say?

I started with prof in 4th grade. For the next 8 years he was a teacher, mentor and friend. He truly was a great influence in my life and for that I am forever greatful. Thank you for the gift of music, honor, responsibility and respect. Rest well, you earned it!

Prof was one of the greatest mentors to our youth. Our son was in the Danville High School Band under Prof. He learned so much from him - not only in the classroom and football field(s) but also in everyday life. He still talks about Prof and experiences with him and also continues to play drums whenever the opportunity arises (at the age of 39). Prof was a great man and will be missed by many.

`Sorry to hear of Pauls passing, He and my mother, Marie Semicek were first cousins. I remember him from when I was in high School (old MCH building). You have my sympathy.

I played trombone with the Mounties when Paul was in charge! It was a fantastic time & many great memories. I will always have a lot of respect for that man. He will be missed, my prayers go out to his family.

I feel blessed to have been part of the Danville Band from 1983 to 1988. Prof was the best and had such a positive influence on me and countless others. God bless you, Prof.

"Prof" maximized his musical talents to become a legend to all his students, and his legacy will always be with his students. I'm so honored to be one from Danville. Thanks "Prof".

I will always treasure the wonderful memories I have of being a MOUNTIE. Prof was a blessing in my life and was the foundation and strength of that organization. I will miss him just as so many other's who knew him will. I am so glad I got to be part of the reunion in Sept. "One last wonderful memory with PROF!" My prayers are with his family.

To the family and friends of the "Music Man", it was an honor to have known "Prof". He gave life a heck of a ride. And he took thousands along with him. Maybe tens of thousands ! I had the distinct pleasure of being a part of an awesome band and he supported my athletic participation as well. Great man. Treasure the memories. I certainly will !!

"Prof" was an amazing man. I feel so honored to have had him not only as a teacher, leader and mentor but as a friend. He taught all of us invaluable life lessons ... He taught us to work hard and be proud of our accomplishments. He made us feel important. You will be missed beyond words.
