Not sure what to say?

My Dear Uncle Paul, Today I think of you as I do quite often, but tomorrow being the aniversary of your death I wanted to express my love and admiration for you. You were always there for me and my family and I will never forget you. Rest in peace my Dear Uncle, and I pray you are happy smiling down on us with Nana, Papa and my beloved father, your brother, George. All my Love....Kathy

I was saddened to learn of the passing of your father/brother, having just received an e-mail from a classmate from Watson School and then reading the obituary you placed in the Herald.

I was a student of your father/brother; both in his 5th grade class in 1962 and then again when we had rotating teachers in 6th grade in 1963. He was and remains a giant in my life; a role model and guide. My earliest memories are of lunch hours in the spring when we would rush back to the ballfield...

I'm sure all of our beautiful, surely missed family members were all there to meet our Uncle Paul, saying 'cead mile failte'!!
Thinking about you, Patty and Bridgette, wishing you peace.
Remember the love...always the love.
To all of us Shannon's... A quote in loving memory of my dad,"If your lucky enough to be Irish....you're lucky enough!!" and we are all lucky, to have known and loved all the people in our lives. Rest in Peace Uncle Paul,
with love, Marianne

My Dear Brother Paul,
Never did I think I would be writing this as you are by baby brother....I have wonderful memories of growing up...making tents with the sheets in our room, saying prayers each night with Mother, sitting on Daddy's lap while he told us the Bear story with the tickles, Daddy making us "goo goos" for breakfast...you going to kindergarden for 2 years because you cried everyday when I went to school so they let you come with me ...never wearing a new dress unless you...

Paul and I were boyhood friends who grew up in the shadow of St.Agnes Cathedral. I was blessed to have known him and his family and I wish this Irish blessing for them. May the road rise to meet you.May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm your face, the rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Dear Patty and Bridgett, We will always remember our Uncle Paul. He is at peace now with Kerri, Aunt Arlene, Nana and Papa, and my dearest father, his brother George. Im sure they are having a great time being together again!!!Although we will miss him, he will never be forgotten by us. We love you and are thinking of you. Your loving cousin, Kathy Shannon Lapkowski and my family.

I remember you fondly Paul and I find comfort that you and so many of your friends and family are now reunited. Thanks for everything.

Paul was my principal, but more importantly, he was my friend. You are remembered fondly my dear friend.

Dear Patti, Brigett, and Family,
My sympathy, thoughts and prayers go out to you. Both your Dad and Mom were such important people and guiding lights in my education career.
God bless you.
