Not sure what to say?

Paul was medical school classmate of Robert. Paul visited us in New Orleans on his return from Vietnam. Our babies were born during those early years.

Dear Shenk Family: Dr. Paul did bilateral cataract removal for my mom a number of years ago (approximately in the late '80's), and she is still raving about what a wonderful man and caring, Godly doctor he was. She was so very sad to hear of his passing and sends her loving wishes and prayers to all of you who loved him so dearly. Praise God that we have the blessed hope of being reunited with our precious loved ones on that Great Day. May that be soon - Come Lord Jesus!

I had the pleasure of being Dr. Shenk's LASIK scrub tech in Lewiston, Idaho for the last 11 years. He was the kindest, most humble man and a true gentleman in every sense of the word. We talked horses, family, kids, and politics and I am honored to have been able to know him. He always gathered us together as a team for prayer before we would start our surgeries and those times meant so much to me. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family. He was truly one of the good guys and will be...

Please know that I am grieving with you all. My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Shenk's family and medical colleagues.

Kaye, The funeral yesterday was so inspiring. Even though we have known you since Hannah was a baby we learned much more about Paul. It is so thrilling to see how God has used Paul in so many lives. We all know what a truely wonderful Godly man he was. His classmates, work place, churches and family. He also was a great example to the kids. My kids remember all the fun experiments he taught them when he was their Sabbath School leader. How he made God come alive to them and made learning...

To the Shenk Family,
I am so sorry for your lose. Dr. Shenk was truly a wonderful caring person, & truly a outstanding doctor. He has made such a good difference in our world. He will always be with you in spirit. His kindness and understanding during my eye surgery was so great. Think of all the people he has helped, and think of all the wonderful times you spent with him. Not anyone can take that away - ever.
Take Care & know that he is smiling down on you and yours.
