Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss Mary Ellen and Tom. Your Dad was an amazing man. So strong and such a beautiful heart. I will always remember him.

Paul, a good friend, admired Montclair State colleague, solid family man, you will be missed by many students and friends. Dr.John Korky, Long Valley, NJ.

Paul and Mary were the most terrific parents and grandparents. Those nurturing traits also made them great friends to so many.
Paul believed in hard work and sacrificing today for benefits tomorrow. He was an example of the wisdom of doing that.
Both Paul and Mary had great compassion for others. Paul's strong character provided guidance and an example to others. He was a proud American and we are proud of him. He will be missed in so many ways.

Paul Shubeck was my biology teacher at Thomas Jefferson High School in Elizabeth in the late 1950s. He was an excellent teacher in a very tough setting, always presenting information in an interesting, unformulaic way and showing remarkable insight and restraint in dealing with challenging students. I became a biology professor myself (surely influenced by him), so I followed his advancing career with interest and read several of his wonderful papers on carrion beetle biology and ecology...

Andy & I send you our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Shubeck was such a wonderful man who will be missed by all.
