Because I was always on the island before and after most people were there, Paul and I were the outliers. There was never a time when he did not have a big smile upon my arrival or a bigger hug upon my departure. For a man who was peripheral in my life, he inhabited a place of great importance. I loved that man.

It appears that Paul lived his life as a servant of all the things that are good and right for our world and his community. I can only imagine how greatly he will be missed.
