Paul Henry Singer

I moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and joined the Sherman Oaks team of associates...Mr. Singer was one real class act...Always had a smile and an encouraging word...He reminded me of my Dad who brought me into the world of Contract Flooring...They just don't make them like that anymore...A real gentleman...My thoughts and sympathy goes out to his family...A true giant in my industry and he will be missed...

I first met Mr Singer in 1985 when I relocated from New York and joined the Paul Singer Floor Coverings gang. Mr Singer always made a point in saying hello to everyone in the office which I thought was fantastic. This is so very important to your employees and as we all know, times have changed and you don't always get that personalization from your employer today. I feel very blessed to have met and worked for Paul. His demeaner in working with his staff was hard to duplicate. Paul set the tone for how we were to deal and service our customers. Our suppliers had the highest regard for Paul. Paul always had the time to visit with you and help you work through any issues whether personal or work related. He set the bench mark for how we were to do our business. He will be missed but I am glad he is at peace now. Love you Paul.

Mr Singer was the last of his generation to be smart in business & very kind to his employees. He always had time to chat & try to help be it business or personal.
I knew him for 35 years. Mr Paul Singer was an Icon in the flooring business, most people strived to learn from him. He will be missed.
