Paul Louis Smith

As tax season approaches I find myself thinking about about Paul. He did our taxes for years. My husband passed away last year also and I would love to still have Paul to guide me with all his wisdom and knowledge right now. We had such trust in him and always enjoyed our annual visit catching up about our families.

Paul was a very dear friend. We go back a long way as he was only a year older than me. He always did my taxes, and I bought a lot of burgers and chocolate malts when he had the ice cream shop. My mother always thought he was a super guy when he helped her with legal questions and taxes after my dads passing in 1975. He will be missed by all who knew and enjoyed visiting with him. Mt. Morris truly lost a person who gave his all to the community and everyone he could help. I want to let...

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your father. He did our taxes for over 20 years and we always enjoyed our conversations with him and catching up on the family. He was very proud of you all.
