Not sure what to say?

To my brother, my teacher, my friend,

The twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn and though you’ve moved from view, you’re as close as my next thought of you. What a wonderful brother! Thank you for leaving me with a deeper understanding of the wisdom in accepting what you cannot change, and for teaching me that in the dark time, the eye begins to see. I have added these gifts to my many memories of you and thank God for the gentle, loving soul I knew as my brother Paul....

This may be the final entry in Paul's Guest Book, but I didn't want it to close before I could express my deeply felt gratitude to all who have responded. I have made a copy of what each of you has written, which is and will be a comfort to me, his mother, and all the members of his family. There is a saying, "To live in the hearts of others is not to die." Though Paul is gone, he will never be forgotten by those who knew him and loved him.

My heart goes out to all the family of Paul Spain. I have known Merlyn for so very many years and love her as if she were my own sister. Throughout these many years I have also gotten to know all of her children. I've found Paul to be a kind, loving and compassionate person and he will be missed very much.

/For Merlyn, Steve, Jill and all of Paul's dear family. Even tho' we never met I do feel a closeness to Paul through his Mother and Steve's family. To know a "Mother" with Merlyn's qualities is to know that Paul also carried her strength, her faith and her trust. May Paul's family and friends find him along with his father 'on the other side of the mountain' when God calls.

We are so sorry for the loss of your brother, Paul. Your family is in "The Unity Class's" thoughts and prayers every Sunday.
Love,
Nick & Nanci Pollard

To Family and Friends,
My uncle Paul was a man of character. He was very whitty in his thought and speach. He was always a joy to be around and always had something funny to say. Eventhough we will miss him he is not lost. You see, for in heaven with God our Father we are truly at home with a NEW body that lasts for eternity. Faith in JESUS CHRIST is all He asks of us, faith of a child. It is a gift that is freely given. Absent from this body is to be present with the LORD. See you...

I AS Paul's Aunt Vee did not realize that we could have more than one line. I want all to know that Paul was very courageous in his last days.As so were Trish,Erin and his son Taylor. The ones who lifes are really changed by his passing.I see it everyday...Please GOD give them the love and understanding to move on....I KNOW YOU ''PAUL'' are watching over your family with love....and I really feel they know it.......

Family and Friends of Paul Spain,

I received this e-mail and thought I would share it with all of you.

I Wish You Enough

Recently, I overheard a Mother and daughter in their last moments together at a regional airport. They had announced her departure and standing near the security gate, they hugged and she said, "I love you. I wish you enough."

She in turn said, "Mom, our life together has been more than...
