Not sure what to say?

Mr. & Mrs Speas, Shelly and Teddy,
I am deeply saddened by Paul's death. I remember in Jr High how I had such a crush on him as did all the girls - with his movie star looks and charming personality. We became friends and remained friends for over 30 years. I took it for granted we would be friends for at least another 30. There are many things I loved about Paul, but the quality I loved most was his good nature to everyone he came in contact with. He was very intelligent and he could...

Dear Speas Family,

I echo everyone else's shock at Paul's passing. He was a part of my life in Wythe for as long as I can remember. He was a "cool" guy with all sorts of the best bikes -- both motorized and not -- and his carefree sense of adventure is what all kids should have. Dear Teddy and Speas Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Even though I didn't know him well, he was always so friendly whenever we met. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless and comfort you.

My Thoughts and prayers to Mr. and Mrs. Speas , Shelley and Teddy. I am so sorry to hear about Paul and I know you will miss him greatly. I have not seen Paul for many years but I can see his big grin smile in my mind right now. I have many fond memories as we grew up together. I remember seeing Paul flying around O'canoe on that cool green stingray bike with that long banana seat and Butterfly handlebars. Doing tricks he had practiced over and over or hanging around the creek, getting into...

Dear Lois, Ted, Shelly and Teddy,
I am sick at heart to hear of Paul's passing. Paul was so funny and sweet. I'll cherish his memory, and all of my happy memories of the time our families spent together.

Speas Family,
Our families will be forever joined as we the family of Fran and Nikki Burton share your loss. Paul came into our lives as a caring neighbor and became a loving friend. May God give us all the strength and comfort that only HE can give.

Sad to hear of Pauls passing esp. when it's someone from the old neighborhood. My prayers are with the family.
