Not sure what to say?

TO THE SPENCER FAMILY--
I HAVE KNOWN MANNIE FOR MANY YEARS--I REMEMBER HIM ALWAYS JOKING AROUND WITH HIS MOM-CALLING HER GLORIA--THEN WHEN HE "HEALED" MY BACK, I TOLD SO MANY PEOPLE ABOUT HIM! I AM SURE A LOT OF THEM WENT TO HIM IN ATHENS. MANNIE WAS THE TYPE OF BOY YOU WOULD WANT YOUR SON TO TURN OUT LIKE. HE WAS ALWAYS JUST SO-- NICE! MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS SISTERS & FAMILY, THEY HAVE GONE THROUGH SO MUCH LATELY. GOD BLESS!

I have great sympathy for all of those who love Paul. My words cannot express how deeply sorrowed I am. I received news of Paul's passing on Sunday June 22, 2008. I was devistated. My heart aches deeply and my soul feels his pain as I pray he found his way home to Jesus with loving arms opened wide. I pray for peace for to cover his loved ones. I love Paul. I have loved him for many years. I met Paul when he was attending Chiropractic College at National in Lombard, IL. I fell in love with...

I wish you my condolences during this time of loss for your family. Dr. Spencer was a friend and colleague who I enjoyed spending time with. I will miss seeing his face in the office and will have nothing but fond memories of times in Chicago.

It is with saddness that I was told of the passing of Paul. He and I met some 20+ years ago at a gym in Ann Arbor. We played basketball together and spent many a Thursday and Friday night enjoying the nightlife of A2. Paul was always in good spirits and a pleasure to hang out with.

My prayers go out to his family and may Paul rest in peace.

Your family is in our prayers.

I had the good fortune to meet Mannie several years ago, during an event in Kalamazoo. Over a period of months I had the opportunity to share with him some of the things that he seemed to love the most, his dogs, horses, the land and his practice. He extended an invitation to go on a house call, where he was able to perform his chiropractic skills on a young boy who had fallen off a horse. His quiet compassion and ability to make this family feel better just through his conversation and...

Paul used to go to Michigan football and hockey games with my dad and I. I was a lot younger than him, but he always treated me like I was his friend. I always thought of him as the big brother I never had. He always had a smile on his face and he was a really good friend to my dad. We will miss him very much.

Dear Family,
I am a stranger to you all, but Paul was a very special person in my life in Ann Arbor for a long time. Not only was he good friends with Tony Ratliff, a cousin of mine, but I also dated Paul when he worked at the funeral home in Ann Arbor and we remained very good friends even after his return to Athens we spoke a few times.
My family had several businesses down the street from the funeral home in Ann Arbor. Paul came to my home personally for me when my mom died in...
