Paul and Judy were among the first to welcome Jim and me back to the Muskegon area in 1980 after many years away. As Judy's second cousin, her family was dear to me, but a few moments in their home gave us an instant "family" connection. We have no idea how many people his godly example and witness impacted. He will be greatly missed. To God be the glory.

From Gerrit...I met Paul about 17 years ago and am honored to be his friend. Paul had such an insight into people and used that gift as an encourager and a way to show the love of Christ. When we get to heaven "in our Fathers house" I hope my room is prepared right next to yours buddy. I bet there is key lime pie in heaven!!! Will miss you!! From Robin...the thing I admired and loved about Paul (well there are many things) but the one that I can´t get out of my head is the way Paul would...

I met Paul about 25 years ago . Nearly 10 years later he called me and asked if would be interested in buying Bakker Auto Trim . I was, and I did purchase the business from him and Judy . Paul was very upbeat, honest and helpful to me . He was a very professional man . I had many long , deep conversations with him about " life" and I really appreciated his wisdom. I seen Paul at Arnolds just a couple months ago. I´d known he wasn´t feeling great , and he still had a smile and was upbeat...

To Roger, Bruce and Paul´s Family and Loved Ones, I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Paul in 1962 when he, Roger and I swam on the first YMCA swim team. While our paths have not crossed in a very long time, I remember him as a being just a very, very nice person. Faith is a wonderful blessing, and I pray it will comfort you at this difficult time. Sharing my joy for Paul for his life´s journey and faith belief, and my love and support with all of Paul´s loved ones at this difficult...
