So sad to hear of Paul's passing. I am going to miss seeing him walking around the hood and stopping for a chat. I always bought my cashews from him. He knew everyone s order! What an amazing soul he was. ❤

I am so sorry for your loss. May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength and hope in the days ahead -JW

I miss Paul. Every morning he would stop by my side office, I would throw open the window, and we would share a few words about the weather, the evening prior, and what lay ahead for the day. Later, in the afternoon, he would open our garage door, grab a drink in the refrigerator there, and take a quiet break from his work. His rituals punctuated our days with a simple, gracious, and kind way of living, and I remain in awe of the life he lived so well. ~ Michael Long

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. We lived down the street from him for many years and my mother and his were good friends for years.

Shocked and saddened to hear this news. Paul would often stop at our house for a glass of lemonade and a chat. We talked about all kinds of things; traveling, cats, weather, aches and pains, etc... We knew him for 29 years. He was always around the neighborhood; walking, working and chatting. He will be missed.

Paul was a great friend to me and to all who knew
him. He loved serving Grace Lutheran Church by quilting at their dinners. Always friendly and with "news" about Highland Park since he mowed lawns, raked leaves and shoveled snow there. He was a faithful spectator at Cedar Cliff sporting events. He was a bright candle in his life and will truly be missed.

Paul was someone very special. He always kept our son in his prayers. He was someone I enjoyed talking to. I am glad to have known him for as long as I did. He was my friend & will be missed.
