Not sure what to say?

I truly miss Paul. He was a lovely man with a brilliant brain and a great sense of humor, which kept me entertained regularly for the past few years. He was also a loving husband for nine years to my good friend, Jo-Ann Veillette, who unfortunately passed away three years ago.

My dear friend, engineer and scientist extraordinaire, Dr. Paul Stonehart. Paul and I along with our mutual friend, Alan Ouimet met twice a month in Guilford, Connecticut for lunch. Paul in good form at his Birthday party 6th March, 2020 - Colin Andrews

A truly talented engineer and a super friend who is being missed. Synthia and I send our deepest condolences to Paul's family and friends.

I am truly saddened by the passing of this wonderful man. I came to know him after all his achievements, in retirement, and just as a friend who would meet for lunch every other week. He truly was a gift. His warmth, humor and knowledge of the arcane was truly amazing. His love for his wife, Jo-Ann, who predeceased him was inspirational. Now they are together. That is wonderful. Lonely no more. I am moved and miss him already.

Paul's Birthday Party 2020

Paul's Birthday 2020

I came to know Paul in the past three or four years - his retirement years - a time away from his distinguished professional life. From the first day I met him he was warm and personable. We celebrated our friendship with lunch every two weeks. It was always joyful, peaceful and interesting absent any reference to his many accomplishments. He had a certain humility and ability to let his light shine without reference to all his awards. Truly a gift. We looked forward to those lunches like...
