Paul was my executive officer in Germany. We were near a village named Illisheim serving in a HAWK Missile Unit. He spent several nights on our sofa when driving back to his quarters would have been dangerous. I later saw him in Viet-Nam after he was released from the hospital. He was a fine soldier, a real character, and I regret we did not meet later in life to share stories.

Bonnie, I just happened onto this. I was shocked to learn of Paul's passing. It is now the end of 2013. Glen passed away March 15th, 2012. I don't think he knew. I am sorry even after all this time has passed. I still have the Llardo.

Bonnie and family
It is still very sad and hard to believe that Paul is no longer with us. We were so glad to get to see him one last time at his early birthday party. We have such good memories of having you all live next door for so many years, and of our few visits after you moved. We still miss having you nearby.
You will always be special friends to us. We love ya'll.

Yes it is hard to believe that it's been a year since Dad passed away. I think I speak for my sisters and Bonnie when I say that not a day goes by that we don't think about Dad, and that it warms our hearts to know that everyone else is thinking of him fondly and as often as we do. I scrounged around for some pictures today and added them, hope they turn out OK.
