Dear Juanita and Stephanie: I'm so sorry to hear of Ted's passing......Mom and I didn't know he was ill. There was no mention in the paper about the funeral or we would have come to the viewing. My folks had Ted as a Hometeacher for many, many years and enjoyed him very much. My folks had a wedding gift (scenic painting) restored by Ted and I often look at it and remember him. God bless you and I hope you know that your husband and father is very close by and always with you in times...

I am sorry about Ted's passing. The memories I remember of you and him seem like it has been all my life that I have known you. Oh the fun we used to have in the Old Tenth Ward and also the Granview Ward. I see Stephanie in the temple on Friday's, what a sweet person she is. Our love and prayers go out to you. Ted was truly a great man and a great teacher to his grandchildren. He was dutiful husband, always willing to move the garden flowers around wherever the family wanted to move them. He had a wealth of knowledge about trees and flowers which always shared with the grandchildren when they would go for walks with him.

He had a great sense of humor when talking about growing up in his family and the ways they dealt with being poor.

Ted was truly beautiful sensitive man and...

I am the proud owner of a seascape painted by Ted in the early 1960s.My late wife was a teacher in the Salt Lake School District and she commissioned the painting as a suprise gift for me. Ted was extremely patient in fulfilling our expectations. My thoughts are with you in your time of grief.
