Sharon, Toots & Bub,
I can't say how sorry I am about Butch. The times I knew him back in West Virginia-he never had a bad word to say about anybody, only a smile! When reading the guest book entries, anyone can tell what a good father, brother in law, grandfather, uncle, and husband he was. He surely touched everyone's heart in a special place and will be missed dearly. God has one more angel in heaven. All of you are in my heart and prayers. Love you, your cousin Carolyn

Dear Memaw,
I will always love Pawpaw and you and I will always have good memories of him, when he would help me with my home work or come out to watch me play ball or to just get disgusted with me for running in and out of the house. I love him very much and can promise you I will never forget him.

Mama I can't tell you how much I'm gonna miss uncle Butch. The both of you have been such a help to me in my life, the way you helped me get my diploma and get into the army. I've always appreciated it. I've always known that no matter what I was going through love was just a phone call away. I wish I could be there now with the family and am sorry I can't. Uncle Butch was a second dad to me in so many ways, I don't think I ever have or ever will meet a better and nicer man, he was of the few...
