Paul was a great Marine Corps veteran. As a Charter member of the Chosin Reservoir Detachment #968 of the Marine Corps League, and long time detachment Adjutant, he would unselfishly get up pre-dawn each and every day of our holiday Highway trailer fundraisers, at the I 71N rest area, and resupply the trailer with the ice, gasoline (for the generator), snacks, beverages and paper products we utilized, providing free to weary travelers.
