San Fernando Mission Cemeteries and Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary Obituary

Paul Eric Valenzuela
April 26, 1967 - April 27, 2024

Paul Valenzuela of Sylmar, California passed away on
April 27, 2024 one day after his 57th birthday. He was surrounded by his family and listening to Beatles music and bible verses. He bravely and quietly fought cancer, his treatment gave Paul an extra 3 1/2 years to be with his youngest daughter Sofia. And for that we are forever grateful.
He was born on April 26, 1967 in Van Nuys, the youngest child of the late Arthur S Valenzuela.
Paul enjoyed his career as a Peri- Operative  Assistant in the Operating Suite at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. He loved working with patients and staff for 32 years.
He was an ice hockey fan of the Vegas Golden Knights. He loved playing his guitar and singing. Paul also known as the fifth Beatle, wrote songs and poetry. He enjoyed reading and had a vast knowledge of music and religion.
He was also know to be gentle, kind and could speak to anyone and was loved by many.
Paul is survived by his two daughters Dana Valenzuela of Moorepark, Ca. and Sofia Valenzuela of Sylmar, Ca. His mother Alice Valenzuela of Sylmar, Ca. His siblings, Martha Delgado (Victor) of Indio, Ca., Debra McKee ( Danny) of Rancho Cucamonga, Ca., Judy Dulaine (Glenn) of Las Vegas, NV., Arthur J. Valenzuela Jr (Alicia) of Sylmar, Ca., Mark A Valenzuela of Sylmar, Ca.
Uncle Paul was warm, loving and a source of cool knowledge for his nieces and nephews.
Paul’s welcoming big smile and fun loving ways will be missed, but never forgotten.

Not sure what to say?

I knew Paul in Sylmar High School. He was a talented writer and artist. I still have his letters and amazing drawing he gave me. I am so shocked to see he has gone. He told me that he had Jesus as his savior so I hope to see him in heaven.
