Not sure what to say?

I met him briefly in Baton Rouge, La. in the mid seventies and once had the PRIVILEGE of tearing down one of his engines to replace a broken camshaft. This engine was a work of art, proven many times on the drag strip, a car owned and driven by my friend McNeely Bennett. He ran against the likes of Lee Sheppard of Rier/Morrison team and other greats such Willis Ragsdale. He had one of the screamingest 287's built by Pauls Automotive that i ever witnessed..I could go on and on Precious Memories!!

To the Vander Family, I am so sorry to hear of Mr.Paul's passing. Ms. Kay, I have many fond memories of him making sure his "bride" received flowers on her anniversaries and birthdays. It was always a pleasure to do business with such sweet Godly people. May God hold you in his arms and comfort you until you meet again in heaven.

We knew the name, before we knew the Man. Mr. Vandreley was a legend in his time, and his legacy will continue through his work ethic, tenacity, and his wonderful family. Our prayers are with you.

One of the great horsepower generators to ever build and dyno engines. A legend in the engine arena. I always wanted to go see Paul Vanderley and let him build my engine. RIP

Danny,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your mother and the girls, I witnessed ya'lls love and respect of your father for so many years. I know he will be sadly missed by so many people he helped over the years in ways that most did not even realize He was a true servent of the Lord.

To the Vanderley Family – we are so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. Our family has many fond memories of him. My dad, Gene Mattingly, worked for him years ago, and they did some racing together. May God comfort you as only He can during this most difficult time.

Mr. Vanderley will always hold a special place in our hearts. God Bless Mrs. Vanderley and her family during this rough time.
