Not sure what to say?

I knew him well. He was the Class President two years running at Mendenhall Continuation High School from 1967-1968 and was proud to represent the school. Hope to see you on the other side bro, now that'll be a real party. Kerry Johnson

My son and I have so many great memories of hanging out at uncle Paulys and sherrys house. We haven't talked to them in years. If someone could please email me and tell us what happened I'd really appreciate that.

Paul
We hadn't seen you for a few years,
but you were in our thoughts and conversation this week as we were reminiscing about our past. Our intention was to drop by your shop this
weekend and say hello. We are filled with sadness tonight - knowing that that can't happen.
Thank you for always making us feel welcome in your shop, your enthusiasm for the "hunt" was contagious. Your kindness to our daughter, Shelly is still remembered by her. I hope your daughter Shelly...

Where would I have been without the dream-nurturing history portal of Raven Antiques? Since 1985 (when I was only 19) some pretty amazing treasures passed through my hands from there. Things that back in the day (before internet) I couldn't have encountered any other way or afforded anywhere else. I was a very eclectic young lad and that meant a lot to me then. Luckily the Raven allowed me to explore/learn about/own actual historical swords. Some of those treasures I still have. And now...

To his daughter, our condolences. He spoke of you often as we visited with him at his store. He was wonderful to our daughter and nurtured her love of history. He never failed to make Abigail feel like he really cared about helping her gain knowledge about WWI and militaria. She purchased several pieces from him and they are her most prized of her collection. We will be forever grateful to Paul for his kindness to our little one. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

We live in the house next to Paul's store. He was friendly and great to talk to. I am so sorry he passed away so young. Rest in peace Paul.

Rest in Peace, Paul. Portland won't be the same without you.

Paul was a great friend, the best guy ever.I will miss Paul always he was good to me thru out all the years I knew him. Richard Swedlund

We really will miss Paul. He was a great friend and was the only game in town for all of us who collected military things. He was too young to die. God be with you, Paul. - John and Cookie Fletcher
